Onion Soup Cream

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1kg onion
  • 2l water
  • 1 stock cube
  • bacon
  • 2 processed/soft cheese e.g Philadelphia
  • sea salt, pepper to taste
  • croutons to serve
  • cheese, grated

METHOD:

Bring water to the boil, add the stock cube.

In the meantime fry the bacon and add it in into the boiling water.

Glaze the onion and also add it into the water.

Boil for abou 1 hour then add in the soft cheese. Blend all the ingredients well.  Serve with the croutons and cheese.
