• 1kg mine meat
  • 0,5 kg rice, boiled
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 roll, soaked in water
  • sea salt, pepper and wegeta (optional)
  • whole cabbage


  • carrot
  • bay leaf
  • chicken stock


Simmer the onion. Mix in all the ingredients together except the cabbage.

Place the whole cabbage in the boiling water, boil for for few minutes and take out the leaves one by one.

Form the balls from the earlier prepared stuffing and wrap it in the cabbage.

Place the “golabki” in the big saucepan and pour over the water. Add in the carrot, bay leaf and stock. Boil until soft on a low heat.
