INGREDIENTS
- 1 ounce apple brandy (preferably Laird’s)
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- ¼ ounce smoky Scotch whiskey (preferably Laphroaig 10 Year)
- 4 ounces Champagne, chilled
- Lemon twist, for garnish
METHOD:
In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine the apple brandy, lemon juice, simple syrup and Scotch. Shake until chilled, then strain into a flute. Top with Champagne and garnish with a lemon twist, then serve.
